I’m Leslie Williams, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 18 years of nursing experience and specialized training in psychiatry. I work with individuals ages 12 and up, providing evidence-based care that includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, supportive therapy, and holistic approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs.

My path into psychiatry began while working as a registered nurse in local school districts, where I saw the urgent need for accessible mental health support. That experience—combined with trauma-informed training and mental health first aid—fueled a lasting commitment to helping individuals, especially in rural and underserved communities, heal and move forward.

I founded PATH Psychiatric Mental Health to offer a more personal, responsive alternative to high-volume clinics. PATH was created with rural patients in mind, offering flexible, hybrid care (in-person and telehealth), low-volume scheduling, and treatment that’s shaped by your goals and values—not a one-size-fits-all model.

Outside of work, I’ve been married to my husband since 2007. We have a son and daughter whom we enjoy watching as they pursue their interests in sports and personal passions. I have a love for doing things outdoors, whether it’s exploring nature, staying active, or simply enjoying fresh air. I also enjoy reading and spending time with family, friends, and our dog, Maddy. These connections reflect the values I bring into my practice every day.
